From Washington, D.C.:
If driving North from Washington on Maryland Route 3, shortly after Maryland Route 3 and I 97 merge, look for Exit 10 - Severna Park-Benfield Blvd. After the exit ramp bears to the right, it comes to a traffic light at a T-intersection, with 2 lanes designated to turn left onto Veterans Highway. Stay in the right of these two lanes, as you will be making an immediate right turn after going through that first traffic light. That immediate right turn will be onto Benfield Blvd. Proceed east on Benfield Blvd. 2.2 miles to the third traffic light at the intersection with Jumpers Hole Road. Proceed 1.5 miles on Benfield Road to a traffic light at the intersection with Jumpers Hole Road. (A shopping center with a Safeway is on the right.) From Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Eastern Shore:
The simplest route would be to continue on US Route 50 West to I-97 (Exit 21), and then head north on I-97 ten miles.
